Founded by collectors tired of stones with no provenance and dealers with no answers, Gem Masters opened in Spokane, Washington — and brought a network with us that has been shaping the gem trade for a generation.

Buying a stone shouldn't feel like flying blind.
Gem Masters opened its Spokane vault in 2025 — the culmination of years we spent buying for ourselves and getting frustrated by the answers most dealers wouldn't give. Where did this stone come from? Has it been heated? Who cut it?
The people who could answer those questions were already in our address book. So we brought the network under one roof, opened a vault in Spokane, and built a curated inventory we'd stand behind by name.
Three sourcing channels: direct from the mine when the opportunity presents, the international show circuit (Tucson, Bangkok, Hong Kong), and a vetted short list of reputable dealers for stones we can't always intercept ourselves.
